Legends of Afro-Cuban music, Chucho Valdés and Paquito D’Rivera reunite after 40 years and open this year’s celebratory Sani Festival, one of the few stops of their international tour! Separately, they have received more than 25 Grammys and Latin Grammys. Now they are joining forces again, in a live performance that will include milestone hits of Latin jazz music, alongside new compositions from their latest album I Missed You Too. The two bona fide living legends are ready to mix the Caribbean rhythm with the Mediterranean breeze of Sani Hill.

Al Di Meola, one of the greatest guitarists of our times, will play at Sani Hill, revisiting Greece after 20 years. His fascination with complex rhythmic syncopation combined with provocative lyrical melodies and sophisticated harmony has been at the core of his music throughout a celebrated career that has spanned more than four decades. As magnificent guitar virtuoso, Al Di Meola will perform with his Guitar Trio, in front of the historical Sani Tower, his smooth melodies resplendent in this unique setting.

Jack Savoretti and his band have included Sani Hill as a stop on their ‘Europiana’ summer tour, after the Number 1 album release in June 2021 and the extended version Europiana Encore in 2022. Bob Geldof and the Bobkatz will rock out on Sani Hill! He rose to prominence as the lead singer of the Irish rock band The Boomtown Rats in the ‘70s and ‘80s, while his songs topped the British and world charts. Over his career he has collaborated with multiple rock legends, such as David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, and Thin Lizzy. Significantly, Geldof has been knighted and nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for his charity work and activism. Both as a rock star and an activist, we are ready to welcome him at Sani Festival for a night of polite audacity, sprinkled with rock music gems!

The world’s most beloved tenor, Andrea Bocelli will play on the last day of this year’s celebratory Sani Festival. Recognised as an icon of the greatest Italian vocal tradition, he has managed to bring classical music to the top of the global music charts with albums like Romanza, Sacred Arias, Sì and Believe. And as Celine Dion once said "If God had a singing voice, he must sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli”. Observing his career in awe, Sani Festival is beyond honored to welcome an artist of that magnitude, in a concert that will mark the festival’s history!
