Since 2006, Sani Gourmet has curated an exquisite blend of cultures, flavours, and traditions from around the world, dedicating each year to a new gastronomic theme. This year, we eagerly welcome Michelin-starred pioneers of gastronomy—Yannick Alléno, Gaggan Anand, Virgilio Martínez, Daniel Boulud, and Emma Bengtsson—poised to captivate food enthusiasts throughout the season with their exclusive degustation menus inspired by their signature dishes, expertly enhanced by wine pairings. Utilising only the freshest produce, these celebrated chefs will dazzle with their culinary expertise, as Sani Gourmet offers guests a rare opportunity to savour menus crafted by these epicurean stars.​

Hosting the elite of gastronomy, we welcome Yannick Alléno, Gaggan Anand, Virgilio Martínez, Daniel Boulud and Emma Bengtsson—five renowned Michelin-starred chefs—to each prepare a sumptuous dinner exclusively for the occasion over July and August. These revered chefs will take over our kitchens, crafting exquisite degustation menus inspired by their signature dishes, showcasing their expertise and culinary mastery. Each menu will be perfectly paired with fine Greek and international wines, expertly selected by our sommeliers.​

Yannick  Alléno

With 17 Michelin stars to his name, Yannick Alléno is a titan of French cuisine. Known for his revolutionary approach to sauces and flavour extraction, he combines heritage with cutting-edge techniques. From Paris to Courchevel, his restaurants are synonymous with elegance and innovation. Signature dishes—such as langoustine with black truffle cream or millefeuille of Wagyu beef—reflect his scientific precision and emotional storytelling. A true visionary, he’s reshaped how haute cuisine is experienced.​

Chef Yannick Alléno will present an extraordinary tasting menu at Elia Restaurant on the 11th of July as part of Sani Gourmet 2025.

Gaggan Anand

From drumming in Calcutta rock bands to running Asia’s top-ranked restaurant, Gaggan Anand has carved a uniquely bold path in the culinary world. Trained at El Bulli and driven by a desire to disrupt Bangkok’s dining scene, he opened Gaggan in 2010—later crowned Asia’s best five times. His menus are explosive, rebellious, and highly personal, often expressed only through emojis. Diners experience a performance of flavour, humour and music, with standout dishes like “Lick It Up,” spherified yoghurt, and charred banana leaf fish. Indian in soul but globally influenced, Anand’s cuisine defies conventions and delights in surprise.​

Chef Gaggan Anand will be creating an unforgettable feast at Elia Restaurant on the 25th of July for this year’s Sani Gourmet.​

Virgilio Martínez

Virgilio Martínez has revolutionised Peruvian cuisine by connecting food to altitude, ecology and indigenous knowledge. At Central—named The World’s Best Restaurant in 2023—each dish maps a specific ecosystem, from sea level to the Andes. Co-founder of Mater Iniciativa, Martínez blends research and storytelling to transform native ingredients into edible journeys. His cuisine, both scientific and soulful, includes dishes like Amazonian fish with uva or short rib with oca and olluco. Bold, immersive and deeply rooted in place, his work honours the land and its people. At Sani Gourmet 2025, Chef Virgilio Martínez will host an exclusive dinner at Elia Restaurant on the first of August, exploring Peru’s culinary landscapes.

Daniel Boulud

A modern icon of French gastronomy, Daniel Boulud rose from Lyon to global acclaim through his flagship Restaurant Daniel in New York. His elegant, seasonal cuisine blends French roots with global influence—earning numerous Michelin stars and James Beard Awards. Whether it’s guinea fowl terrine or langoustine tartare with sweetcorn and caviar, Boulud’s refined touch and warm hospitality have made him a legend. With restaurants worldwide, he remains dedicated to excellence, mentorship and the timeless joy of great food.​

Elia Restaurant will welcome Chef Daniel Boulud on the 8th of August for a special Sani Gourmet dinner showcasing his celebrated French cuisine.​

Emma Bengtsson

Emma Bengtsson is the first Swedish female chef to earn two Michelin stars and only the second woman in the US to do so. As Executive Chef of New York’s Aquavit, she has redefined Scandinavian fine dining, fusing tradition with modern precision. Originally a pastry chef, her savoury dishes—like North Sea cod with mussel foam or her iconic “Arctic​ Nest” dessert—showcase her delicate yet expressive style. Deeply committed to sustainability, simplicity and heritage, Bengtsson is an advocate for inclusion and imagination in the kitchen.​

As part of this year’s Sani Gourmet, Elia Restaurant will host an exclusive dinner with Chef Emma Bengtsson on the 22nd of August.​
